Welcome to the website of Robinson Memorial United Church. Robinson is located at 1061 Richmond Street, London, just south of the University of Western Ontario. Visitors and members are welcome to attend our 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning worship service.
Robinson would like to welcome Rev. Derek Parry who has joined us as our newly appointed Minister. Rev Parrys most recent charge was at Thamesville United Church and he also served in the Vancouver BC, Waterloo and Niagara Ontario Presbyterys. Derek has promised us a lively and challenging time in our mission of Gods work. We look forward to his energy, his devotion and his sharing of who we are in the Christian world.
Robinson has always been blessed with individuals who find a spirited connection to the practice of the Christian message both in the immediate North London community as well as global outreach programs.
Our youth, have developed a strong global outreach connection to Lifewater Canada; an agency who provides clean water and related amenities to developing countries. The Robinson young people have developed, organized and performed a One World Talent Show for the past two years. Local youth who may be interested in performing should contact the church office ( 519) 438-4104
The choir, directed by Glen Thompson, is uplifting and if you like to sing or play in the Gospel Band please seek us out. Robinson has been particularly blessed with a strong musical history yet is open to anyone willing to open their heart to singing Gods message
Our local outreach is anchored by the Hospitality Meal program. This program was developed and has been in place for over 13 years at Robinson. Volunteers and Guests are always welcome any Tuesday night of the year between 5: 30 and 7:30 p.m. Highschool credits can also be gained through volunteer participation.
In the fall of 2008 we will be seeking to develop a Drama program as well as a teaching a course on Poverty. Again, anyone interested should contact our church office for further details.
The Robinson family would like to wish Rev Keith Rameshwar all the best in his retirement. He will be missed as the former Pastor of our church, but we know that he will be a valued friend who will continue to be a part of our congregation.
